The reference standards

The Project Rating adopts national and international guidelines on Project Management and Risk Management and more precisely is based on:

  • general standards, such as ISO 31000:2009 and ISO 21500:2013;

  • specific regulations, such as UNI 11648:2016 and UNI 11453:2017.

ISO 31000:2009

Technical specification used in risk management in various fields of application. It is a risk management methodology to be adopted in construction. The legislation is divided into levels of analysis (analysis of criticalities, risk analysis and risk treatment).

The standard constitutes a guide for project management and can be used by any type of organization, public, private or community, and for any type of project, regardless of complexity, size or duration. The standard describes, at a high level, the concepts and processes that are believed to constitute good practice in project management.

The standard defines the requirements relating to the professional activity of the project manager, of equivalent figures who manage projects or of other organizational roles that perform equivalent functions in accordance with UNI ISO 21500.

UNI 11453:2017

Guideline that defines a working methodology and makes it possible to collect and rearrange the many technical-planning-financial information and data according to a precise relationship between the planning stages and the financing process. It is applied to the Italian construction sector and is aimed at all operators in the sector, in particular public bodies as promoters of publicly-competent initiatives, construction companies, for private and/or PPP-PF type initiatives, Credit institutes as entities in charge of disbursing loans and issuing guarantees as well as professionals and universities.
